Tres Monjitas makes operational adjustments to supply fresh milk in the face of partial closure of Suiza Dairy

After the company Swiss Dairy announced on Friday the partial closureyou immediately of its operations in San Juan, Ponce and Aguadilla after an unresolved labor-management conflict with the General Confederation of Workers (CGT), Tres Monjitas Dairy issued a statement expressing regret at the cessation of operations.

“We deeply regret the partial and temporary closure of Suiza Dairy operations, particularly for its impact on employees. We reiterate our commitment to the entire dairy industry in Puerto Rico and to consumers of fresh milk, whom we have served with quality for more than 105 years,” reads the statement on behalf of the general manager of the dairy brand, Orlando Gonzalez.

“(…)We are making the necessary operational adjustments with the available resources to supply fresh milk to practically the entire market. We will continue to focus on supplying this vital product to the largest number of clients and consumers in Puerto Rico.. We know that we can count on the commitment and dedication of our large family of employees, farmers and the entire distribution chain to ensure that we never lack fresh milk,” added Gonzalez.
