The Police are investigating two separate cases of “carjackings” that occurred during the night of Monday and the early hours of Tuesday in Caguas and San Juan, respectively.
According to a police report, The first case occurred on Wilson Street, in Santurce, when a man traveling on a red 2008 Vespa BTS motorbike He was threatened by two individuals who approached him aboard a motorboat.
The victim in this case was also stripped of a 14-karat gold chain.
On the other hand, at around 2:09 am on Tuesday on the PR-52 highway, exit 15A towards the PR-30 highway, jurisdiction of Caguas, a woman was stripped of her 2022 champagne-colored Hyundai Tucson after four men in a white vehicle hit her from the back of her car.
The individuals then left the scene, without causing harm to the woman.
Both cases are investigated by the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of the respective police areas.
