Unstoppable!  Shohei Ohtani hits three doubles in the Dodgers’ victory against the Nationals

Washington- Shohei Ohtani totaled three doubles and improved his batting average to .371, the highest in the majors, as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Washington Nationals 11-2 on Wednesday.

The Dodgers accumulated 20 hits, their highest number of the season, to achieve their third victory. Mookie Betts and Will Smith contributed four hits each, while Cuban Andy Pages hit a home run.

All of this supported the work of rookie Landon Knack (1-1), who scored his first victory.

Nick Senzel homered for Washington, which did not put a single runner on the path after the second inning.

Ohtani went 3 for 6, with RBI doubles in the eighth and ninth innings. The Japanese is the leader of the majors in slugging (.695), OPS (1,128), extra base hits (21) and doubles (14).
