“When there are winds more from the southeast they bring warmer air. We are forecast in areas of the north-central and west-northwest up to 105 °F in isolated places, and generally above 102 °F for the north-central and west-northwest“explained Manuel Ramos, SNM meteorologist.

Ramos explained that The flow of winds from the southeast will help the formation of showers on Saturday afternoonespecially in the northeast quadrant and, possibly, a line of downpours that will come from the Luquillo Mountain Range, which is expected to affect the metropolitan area.

“Locally we have moderate to vigorous winds coming from the east that, as the day goes on, will shift more from the southeast due to high pressure to the west of the Atlantic Ocean. This will cause strong winds that will cause rough waves“, he indicated about the conditions at sea.
