With no guarantees the Planning Board will receive funds to revise the Land Use Plan

The Planning Board (JP) will need about $1.3 million to carry out, starting with the fiscal year that begins on July 1, the decennial review of the Land Use Plan (PUT), although the president of the organization, Julio Lassus Ruizacknowledged that, at the moment, it has not received guarantees that the Fiscal Oversight Board (JSF) will approve the assignment.

“We still do not have that detail from the JSF or OGP (Office of Management and Budget). I understand that OGP is still in the process. It is still in that process and, as such, we do not have that visibility of what will finally be approved. But those resources are very important”Lassus Ruiz pointed out, in an interview with The new day.

In April, the official had indicated to this medium that the JP would need to recruit 20 workers who would make up the PUT Comprehensive Review Office: 10 planners, an assistant director of planning, a confidential assistant director on use plans and eight support employees.
