Xander Zayas and Roberto Valenzuela Jr. meet the scale for their fight in Texas

The boricua Xander Zayas and mexico Roberto Valenzuela Jr. are ready to measure themselves tomorrow, Friday, at the American Bank Center, Corpus Christi, Texas, after meeting the required weight for the semi-main event of the card starring the featherweight champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), Luis Alberto “El Venado” Lopezand Joet Gonzalez.

Zayas, who will present his titles NABO and NABF super welterweight, stopped the scale at 153.7 pounds, while his opponent did the same at 153.4. The maximum weight for this division is 154 pounds.

The brawl between the two is scheduled for 10 rounds.

The Puerto Rican fighter has an immaculate record of 16 victories, 10 of them by knockout. For his part, Valenzuela has accumulated 21 victories, of which 20 were fast-track, and four defeats.

This card will be broadcast on ESPN+ from 7:00 pm, Puerto Rico time, and on ESPN from 10:00 pm.
